Current Exhibition: From Where I Stand
Otobong Nkanga prompts us to think about our relationships to land and the extraction of the world’s natural resources. Her works reveal complex economic and political systems, histories of land ownership and exploitation.
The exhibition includes tapestries, drawings, photographs, installations, videos and performances. The works shown connect desirable products made from minerals with the social and environmental scars left by their extraction.
